Justin Warner Raps About Wine

Food Network Star winner Justin Warner came out with a rap video today called Central Coastin'.  It is a rap video about Central Coast wines, more specifically Robert Mondavi Private Selection Wine.  There are plenty of videos out there of Justin Warner rapping, but this is his first "official" music video.

Video of Justin's Central Coastin' is after the break:

Also, for those looking for Justin on the Food Network, he will be appearing as a judge on an upcoming episode of Beat Bobby Flay.

  3. I like competition shows, but I miss the high level shows like Food Network Challenge or specials devoted to the Bocuse d'Or (however you spell it) Now it's more everyday cooks. Not a bad thing, but not the same.

That said, there needs to be balance and now there is almost none. Prime time is all DDD, scripted "reality" or gimmicky competition shows

  5. A year's supply of just about any snack would make a person sick of it.

  6. It is Katie Lee. She's another mistake by FN, kind of like Sandra Lee is.

  7. I agree with the majority of what you've said, Barney. For me, from the beginning, I never liked Justin. Can't put my finger on it, but I just got an 'eewww' feeling from him. I'm guessing he's a pretty good Chef, but he SERIOUSLY lacks the combination of charisma, likeable personality and good/attractive TV ready looks. Someone else said something about him not being believable, and that genuine demeanor that connects with an audience can also be a deal breaker. For instance, I've interviewed restaurant owners in my travels as well as in my home town who have been on Triple D. They ALL say that Guy Fieri is the real deal. He's as fun-loving, outlandish and nice in person as he portrays on TV. I'd guess that Justin wouldn't get the same reviews.

  8. Just watched Justin as a judge on Beat Bobby Flay. All I can say is that it reinforced why I didn't like him on Food Network Star. He was and still is an arrogant ass. You are not ready to play with the big boys.

  9. So agree with you. The seasoned pros and Iron chefs have paid their dues and I could excuse a little arrogance if they ever showed any. I've learned from them
, been entertained by them, and love to continue to watch them. Justin on the other hand acts like a spoiled know it all that not only hasn't shown me anything, but I don't want to learn anything from him either. He needs to grow up and learn a little humility.

  10. Does anyone remember Justin's appearance on "24 Hour Restaurant Battle"? His concept was a restaurant that served waffles with "custom" jellies. When the time came to serve the customers, a bunch of them didn't get their jellies because pretty-boy had a snit fit and decided not to make them -- and he still won! His attitude shouted prima donna from Day One. I have no idea how he made it all the way through FNS and managed to be voted the winner. Guy Fieri is bad enough, but Justin takes the word "douchebag" to a whole new level...
