Restaurant Impossible - Mike Audia's Restaurant - Catering

Photo - Twitter
Tonight on Restaurant: Impossible, Robert Irvine and his crew are in Nutter Fort, West Virginia to makeover Mike Audia's Restaurant-Catering.  The restaurant is owned by single dad Mike Audia and the restaurant has a confused identity.  While Robert Irvine is there, he finds a dirty restaurant and unappetizing food.  Robert will need to implement one of the biggest transformations ever to make sure Mike Audia's restaurant can be successful and he doesn't lose his restaurant and home.

As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about Mike Audia's Restaurant - Catering to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Robert Irvine visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):

Positive Reviews:
  • "This was my first trip ever to this restaurant! I was very impressed. My husband, brother in law and myself all ordered different items on the menu and we were not disappointed! Their fresh chips are awesome! Also had a side of their Mac n cheese. Yum! And the cobbler and ice cream for dessert was the best I've had in years!"
  • "Great barbecue come try it"
  • "Great food and good people!"
  • "Such a great hometown restaurant! Food is always fantastic!❤"
  • "Enjoyed my visit, chatted with Mike, which I hadn't seen in a while. Hoagie was really good."

Negative Reviews:

  • "Waitress was loud and had poor hand hygiene. A man sitting at a corner table got up, walked behind the counter and refilled his ice tea."
  • "I ordered 3 big Mike sandwiches. They were cold. My bread was very soggy. Had a very bland taste. Did not taste good at all. Spent over $ 35.00 . The sandwiches are $ 10.00 a piece. Very Very Dissatisfied. Will NOT go back"

Conclusion:

There haven't been too many reviews for Mike Audia's Restaurant since the Restaurant Impossible makeover, but the reviews are somewhat positive.  It seems like the community is very happy about the makeover and they think Mike is a great guy that deserves it.  Mike Audia's doesn't have a website or any information available online such as menus.  As they were on national television, they may want to get this information online so potential customers can see it.

UPDATE - Mike Audia's Restaurant closed in January 2020 after 17 years in business.  Their landlord made a decision to sell the building and forced them to leave.
