Tonight at 9pm ET on the Food Network is the Chopped Tournament of Stars finale where the winner will receive $50,000 for their charity.  The finalists who won their previous Chopped episode are: Brandi Chastain (Sports Stars), Carnie Wilson (Rachael vs Guy Celebrities), Gillian Vigman (Comedians), and Michael Imperioli (Actors).

If you missed any of the first four episodes, here were the order of eliminations for each:
  • Sports Stars - Jackie Joyner Kersee - appetizer, Charles Oakley - entree, Greg Lougani - dessert; Winner - Brandi Chastain
  • Rachael vs. Guy Celebrities - Coolio - appetizer, Penn Jillette - entree, Lou Diamond Phillips - dessert; Winner - Carnie Wilson
  • Comedians - Tommy Davidson - appetizer, Robert Wuhl - entree, Sinbad - dessert; Winner - Gillian Vigman
  • Actors - Tasha Smith - appetizer, Lucas Grabeel - entree, Peter Scolari - dessert; Winner - Michael Imperioli
The charities each of the finalists are competing for are: Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative (Brandi Chastain), Weight Loss Surgery Foundation (Carnie Wilson), Go Campaign (Gillian Vigman), and the Pure Land Project (Michael Imperioli).

The fan vote makes it look like people are rooting for Brandi Chastain to win, and I will update this post with the winner after the episode airs.

Michael Imperioli ended up winning Chopped Tournament of Stars and $50,000 for his charity Pure Land Project.  He edged out Brandi Chastain by beating her in the dessert round.

  4. I was so hoping for Carnie to win. Oh well - Michael earned his win, and the money is going to a good cause.

  5. I don't agree with the win. Michael ' s most successful dessert item didn't have a single basket ingredient in it. They did not like the pecans at all and that was two of the basket ingredients.
