On this week's episode of Restaurant: Impossible, Aaron Sanchez, Jen Agg and their team are in Newmarket, Ontario to makeover Orsini Ristorante. The kitchen is cluttered and they are serving pre-cooked pasta. Aaron and Jen think the owner must give up control of his kitchen if he hopes the restaurant will survive.
As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about Orsini Ristorante to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Restaurant Impossible visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):
- "Has anyone been to Ristorante Orsini in Newmarket lately? I was there last night, and the transformation is absolutely beautiful. The renovations have created a warm, romantic Italian atmosphere, with elegant décor and traditional Italian music playing softly in the background. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel as though you have stepped into a charming restaurant somewhere in Italy."
- "Best Italian place in town. Hands down"
- "I've been eating here everyday for a week! Every meal has been DELICIOUS! Authentic Italian food, generous portions, friendly service, the owner Michele is Awesome and really has a passion for his food and service, a true gem!"
- "The best Italian restaurant in Newmarket. The food is delicious. If they have Osso Bucco on the menu, don't pass it up! The Vitello Margherita is amazing as well."
