Yueh Tung - Restaurant Impossible Update

 On the premiere episode of Restaurant Impossible: Last Call, Aaron Sanchez and his team are in Toronto, Canada to makeover Yueh Tung.  This is the first Restaurant Impossible episode with a different host than Robert Irvine.  Yueh Tung is Toronto's oldest Hakka restaurant that is being run by two sisters.  The restaurant is on the verge of collapse and Aaron Sanchez and Jen Agg will try to turn it around to restore the restaurant's legacy.

As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about Yueh Tung to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Restaurant Impossible visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):


Positive Reviews:

• "Greatest Hakka Dining experience, fresh ingrediants , generous portions and unlike any other hakka restaurant. The chilli chicken, the ginger lobster and the chilli fish are beyond deliscious....outstanding service...been coming here for over 30 years. Family owned and run!!! Best in T.O"

Negative Reviews:

• "The food was not up to my standard. Under seasoned and I could smell the eggs in each meal"
• "Extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered chilli chicken and felt 50% is covered with batter. We also ordered mushroom noodles and found it very oily. This might be a wonderful place in the past but nowhere close to being good quality today."

Conclusion:

The reviews for Yueh Tung since the Restaurant Impossible makeover have been mostly positive with people liking the food and service.  Some reviews mention smaller portion size and higher prices, but that happens a lot with makeover shows.  The reviews before the Restaurant Impossible visit were also positive, so it seems like people have always liked the food there.  This was the first episode of Restaurant Impossible without Robert Irvine, so I am interested in people's thoughts on the format.
