Restaurant Impossible - Millonzi's Restaurant Update

Tonight on Restaurant: Impossible, Robert Irvine and his crew are in Fairplay, Colorado to makeover Millonzi's Restaurant. Millonzi's is run by a husband and wife who are buried in debt and the restaurant's issues have them on the brink of divorce.  Robert Irvine needs to get Tim and Jenifer to work as a team again if they want their restaurant to survive.

As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about Millonzi's to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Robert Irvine visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):

Positive Reviews:
  • "Wow! What an incredible experience with this hidden gem! We were skiing all day and wanted a nice hearty meal to finish it off for our anniversary trip. Our server, Chris, was awesome and on top of everything. He told us the story of the restaurant and recommended the pappardelle bolognese informing us that it was made in house from scratch. He went further to say that the owner was also the chef that prepared our dinner. The food was just as good as the service! We will definitely be back!"
  • "Food was amazing, everything from the truffle fries, the pork special, chicken Marsala and meatball linguini. The wedge and Caesar delish too. I'm not sure why so many mixed reviews, the service was outstanding and the ambiance is beautiful. It was packed at 5 pm on a Wednesday. I would make a reservation- but we felt like we found a treasure in this town."
  • "This place was awesome. Our server was super friendly and enthusiastic and new the menu well. I had a Argentine Malbec wine and hub had whiskey on the rocks both were great. We shared a Caesar salad to start which was really good. My hubby had the swordfish for his main which he said was cooked perfectly but actually had a little too much sauce he said it was soo good it didn't need to be smothered so much, hence why only a 4 star instead of a 5. I had the bolognese parpadelle and it was soooo yummy, the different meats and the sauces flavour was awesome. They also gave us bread rolls as an extra on the side. We really enjoyed our meal here and if we're back in town we will definitely hit them up again!"
  • "Millonzis is a true gem in FairPlay. International quality food. The flavors play in your tongue in an exciting and dangerous manner. Each of our meals were absolutely incredibly good. We had lots of fun. The service was also excellent. The hostess and the waitress were very friendly and attentive. I’m so glad Millonzis survived this crazy pandemic!"
  • "Who knew millonzi's could get even better, since the renovation and menu change its got to be the best restaurant in Fairplay."
  • "Really great food in the middle of a small town, I was rather surprised with their offerings. Didn't get to try the lamb (bummer) but had a great experience for valentines day, thought the dating questions they placed on the table was pretty clever. Shout out to the chefs for some wonderfully prepared food!"
  • "GET IN HERE NOW!! This place is about to become so popular you will never get a table. The people are so friendly and the setting is amazing since they had it redone due to one of those restaurant remake shows helping them. The small, focused menu was amazing. We were shocked to find such a gem while driving through and needing some dinner."

Negative Reviews:
  • "I must say I'm disappointed that the place was changed in order to be featured on a Food Network show. Kinda lost its cool vibe. Feels more like a trendy Denver restaurant now. Menu changed as well and not for the better for me. I will say the Burrata Burger is very unique and very good, but nothing else is appealing. The meat and cheese tray is the only appetizer (they used to have a great app selection) and it's tiny, overpriced and just so so....The owner is a great guy who's had the place for a long time and I'm sure he'll continue to be successful. It's the dude from the Food Network who apparently is a real ass and obviously is clueless about what to serve in an Italian restaurant in a small town. No lasagna, no chicken parm, no manicotti, no made to order pizza, no apps, etc., etc. WTF?"
  • "Good service, very nice remodel, but the food is not good compared to how it was before Restaurant Impossible."
