KC's BBQ - Restaurant Impossible Update

On this week's episode of Restaurant: Impossible, Robert Irvine and his crew are in Berkeley, California to makeover KC's BBQ. KC's BBQ has been around for over 50 years and Patrick is trying to continue his father's legacy.  The restaurant is in danger of closing and this has caused Patrick to go into a deep depression.  Robert will need to get Patrick to regain his self-confidence and improve his relationships in hopes of saving the family business.

As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about KC's BBQ to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Robert Irvine visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):

Positive Reviews:
  • "The pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese really hit the spot. I really felt God's love when I was eating and the music taste was immaculate. So much history and great food and an amazing atmosphere that makes you want to stay and eat forever. My group was out there sharing the different meats we got because everything just tasted amazing!!! Definitely want to come back again and again and again!"
  • "I came here with my team and it is so so good. The service was immaculate and the food made me feel like my soul was removed from my body and then returned. I highly recommend!!"
  • "The BEST ribs I have had in years!!! This was my first visit to KC’s BBQ and boy am I glad I stopped by. I got a mix of brisket (for my kids) and ribs (for me) that came with two sides and two tasty rolls. From the first bite of ribs I was knew I was in trouble. OMG! I am going to have to try to keep myself from going there all the time. The inside is clean and the decor is nice. Parking can be a little tricky on San Pablo, but it is worth the trouble! I know there is more on the menu to try, but those ribs"
  • "Amazing food! The chicken was so great! Awesome service! Best food you’ll ever have in your life!"
  • "What a delicious surprise to find this hidden gem! Mouthwatering and perfectly smoked meets with delicious sides. Ribs were truly amazing and so was brisket. The bbq sauce was good, but that’s anyone’s take. Mac and cheese was well melted and perfectly cheese without cheese breaking fat. Short, this is a steal for the price and super nice service."

Conclusion:

The reviews for KC's BBQ since the Restaurant Impossible makeover have been all positive with the reviews complementing the food (BBQ and the sides) as well as the service and decor.  It seems like they are also happy with the makeover as they are advertising their appearance on the show.  With such positive reviews for their food, their appearance on Restaurant Impossible should help KC's BBQ gain new customers and achieve success.
