Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge Premieres Tonight

Tonight at 9pm ET on Food Network is the series premiere of Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge hosted by Giada De Laurentiis.  Five chefs will be competing for a $25,000 prize where they try to make innovative turkeys, side dishes and desserts.  The show will be judged by Alex Guarnaschelli, Carla Hall and Christian Petroni.  The show is only three episodes long and the winner will be revealed on November 18th.

Food Network Star winner Christian Petroni's finds himself on Food Network as a judge again.  There are still no updates on any other potential Food Network shows for Christian or Food Network Star co-winner Jess Tom.

Month-Long Celebration Culminates with All-Day Marathon of Classic Thanksgiving Episodes on Thursday, November 22nd

NEW YORK – October 1, 2018 – This November, Food Network is celebrating Thanksgiving all-month long with more than 25 hours hours of holiday programming including a slate of brand-new series, specials, themed episodes and classic shows dedicated to food’s biggest day. This marks an increase of more than 30% from last year’s Thanksgiving programming, spanning almost 40 episodes across 22 different titles. The primetime lineup includes premieres of Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge, a three-episode competition hosted by Giada De Laurentiis, on Sunday, November 4th at 9pm (all times ET/PT); Worst Cooks in America: Thanksgiving Redemption on Sunday, November 11th at 10pm; Barefoot Contessa Cook Like A Pro: Thanksgiving Sides on Saturday, November 17th at 8pm and Macy’s Thanksgiving Cake Spectacular, hosted by Martha Stewart, on Sunday, November 18th at 8pm.   Brand-new Thanksgiving digital content will roll-out on social media all month, leading into #FEASTWEEK and the live interactive event #CHOOSEYOURSIDE on Sunday, November 18th. Before and after the feast, viewers can bliss out on the nostalgia of classic holiday-themed episodes during a Thanksgiving Day marathon on Thursday, November 22nd from 9:30am-6pm.

Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge kicks off the season with a face-off between five talented chefs who must create mind-blowing Thanksgiving dishes. Host Giada De Laurentiis puts these competitors to the test, challenging them to prepare the most delicious and innovative turkeys, side dishes and desserts to ever hit a dining room table. Judges Alex Guarnaschelli, Carla Hall and Christian Petroni determine which chef heads into the holiday with the $25,000 grand prize and bragging rights.
