  1. I keep hoping for a RHONJ Celebrity Chopped!

  2. I didn't know anything about Antonio Sabato Jr before this, but he seemed pretty full of himself in this episode. I like the other three competitors.

  3. Every girl in high school had the hots for him. He was never my type and that dish was just embarrassing. "Here is a plate with the basket ingredients sitting on it. It looks like the Italian flag, no?"

Had he seen the show before?

  4. Wow, Anthony Anderson. Way to come off like a total jackass.

  5. I recognize the name but didn't even know he was a teenage heartthrob. Had to have been either before or after my time. His appetizer really was sad.

  6. Equally sad was his failure to identify mint :)

  7. Hey, he got shown the door so there is justice!

  8. True. I didn't realize he had such an ugly personality though. His comments about Dawn and Teri were consistently personally derogatory.

  9. The only exposure to Anthony Anderson I'd had before last night was ICA when he was a judge. I'd always liked him. Not any more. What an egotistical jerk. Both women did well. I was distracted by Dawn Wells' hair though because I kept wondering if a woman her age could really have hair like that or if she was wearing a wig. I don't watch Real Housewives shows so I wasn't familiar with Teri Hatcher. I liked her a lot and can't imagine her as a trashy housewife.

  10. Haha, she was on Desperate Housewives, which was a sitcom on ABC. So she is actually an actress. You are confusing that with Real Housewives of ____ which is the reality show you are probably thinking of.

  11. Yes, you're right. Obviously, I've never watched that either and I did have them confused. I'm glad you told me though because I feel much better about Teri Hatcher now.

  12. She's possibly most famous as the "they're real, and they're spectacular!" girlfriend on Seinfeld :)

  13. She was also Lois Lane opposite Dean Cain's Superman on Lois and Clark, which was likely the first time she became publicly recognizable.

  14. I first saw her in an episode of MacGyver. Her character's name was Penny.

  15. Comedians if you think about it are really just professional bullies..having said that I don't know how well he knows Teri and Dawn, it could be a situation where they are friends..kind of like a friend can say a joke to you, but if a stranger says the same thing they'd get punched.

  16. I read a rumor that Ted Allen requested Antonio Sabato Jr be on the show, i'm not sure why though.

  17. True, but I caught the replay last night and very early on (before he was pinging my "jerk radar") he makes a comment about how he is supposed to win because men are competitive by nature. The implication being, of course, that women aren't. I was like, Anthony dear, have you met a woman?

Having said that, I would love to have seen Dawn sucker-punch him ;)

  18. Useless. He just scooped the ingredients onto the plate. And he can't tell basil from mint? Taste it, Einstein!

  19. Helloooooo people...Anthony Anderson was joking...having fun with the ladies.....he is very respectful....geez he's a comedian for goodness sakes!

  20. What is wrong with you people? Don't you know Anthony Anderson? Did you hear him say during the show that he and Terri are friends, that their children go to the same school, and they presented at the Emmys together? They have a long friendship. Goosh!!!! Anthony Anderson is a respectful man and not one of these "jump on the bandwagon, let's tease someone comedians". He is an upstanding father and family man. Anthony Anderson kept the show interesting, light, fun, and carefree. He knew what he was saying and did so to get a reaction. I first saw Anderson back in 1998 and have followed him since. He is a upstanding person!!! Based upon your comments and reactions, few of you know anything about him! The conclusion you've drawn about Anderson would be similar to me stating that Jim Carey is a goofey jackass in real life. I wouldn't be so foolish to make sure a statement!
