Giada De Laurentiis New Cookbook Released - Plus Book Tour and TV Appearances

Giada De Laurentiis released another cookbook today titled Giada's Feel Good Food: My Healthy Recipes and Secrets.  This cookbook focuses on healthy recipes and how Giada stays thin.  The recipes include breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and many are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian or vegan.  You can preview much of the book and recipes with the link above and the "Look Inside" feature.

As is normally the case with cookbook releases, Giada will be going on a book tour and be appearing on TV to promote the book.  It is a pretty packed schedule that spans both coast and includes appearances on the Today Show, Jimmy Fallon, The View, and Watch What Happens: Live.  To see the dates of the book signings and TV appearances, continue reading:

  1. Excellent! A good book coming at a good time. The Healthy Eating will appeal to many. Giada does a wonderful job maintaining her good figure. How does she do it? Also, I really like that there are Breakfast and Lunch and Dinner recipes all in the same book. This should be very good.

  2. Dropping like flies aren't they!

  3. I notice many of the closed ones tend to have reverted back to their old ways. Some used the makeover to sell the place and a few have just had money problems.

  4. I can't believe it. She was in my city yesterday and I'm just now reading this. Well I will just go cry in a corner now!!!!

  5. Maybe that's why Robert is doing "Restaurant Express" now. He wants to start from scratch, with a passionate, successful chef, then put the winner's restaurant in a can't-fail, high-traffic Vegas property. This way, he won't waste time trying to repair a family and a failing business, only to see them revert to failure or take advantage of the opportunity to sell..

  6. I wish an audio of "Another One Bites the Dust" would autoplay on these posts :)

  7. A stupid girl/owner that opens two new places when the first one didn't do well and had to be on Restaurant Impossible. After the TV show she probably thought she was restaurant owner of the year. Now all three places are closed.

  8. Repair a family? Really?

  9. Just like 'dieting'....if you don't continue with the CHANGES and go back to your old ways, you FAIL. Stupid, stupid, stupid, but then, most of those people weren't restaurateurs or chefs in the first place or they wouldn't have had to call Irvine for help.

  10. How about that cook who looked like the Bride of Frankenstein? Scary! She needs to work at a Halloween theme restaurant.

  11. Just the best restauranr business show there is!

there's her personal twitter..she is still in vegas, so she's lying through her teeth about that "large catering contract"

  13. I can't believe she thought opening 2 new places made sense!

  14. I figured some owners get the RI makeover, and then sell, rather than stick it out.

  15. We like the Gorton’s Crispy Battered Fish Fillets. I made them last night with fries for our FF Friday dinner. :)

  16. These people were given a great gift. Too bad they didn't take advantage of it. She didn't want to fire people for not working...now they are all out of jobs. So that worked out real well for everyone.

  17. Is Robert starting to think that he is the kiss of death? ? She actually should have got rid of all family members..... not sure if the blonde with her cell phone and a snotty attitude is family, but, she'd be the first to go!

  18. Stupid, irrelevant statement.

    ReplyDelete
  19. No, he's not the kiss of death. These businesses would have closed without him, just a lot sooner. Even a well run restaurant can have problems getting business. So certainly a poorly run one, even with a spruce, is not going to fare well without an extreme amount of work by the owners.

  20. Design-wise, this was one of my favorite make-overs.

  21. Wow, opening two new locations after Ivine leaves. THAT is why they failed.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Nope, no animals. Food was amazing, and I'm very sad about this closing. I do have to say that this was in a weird location, kind of out of the way, and I'd venture that as a strong reason it failed.
